You shouldn't because with the shower setting, it's pretty much like driving in the rain and the water from the road getting up in the engine bay. I mean don't sit in one spot and soak the area down. If you do kinda quick sweeps back and forth you'll be alright. Check your plug wires on your coil packs and make sure they fit tight. If not, cover with a plastic bag. I had a set one time that didn't fit tight and had to do that. That's why I let it sit for a little while and dry, but all the plugs a suppose to be weather tight. I just let it sit to be on the safe side.
