Ok i know this is really nothing, but it was bugging the hell out of me that the 97 grand prix coupe cup holders were horrible,a joke. They are so shallow you can barely put a can or small cup in it(small styrofoam was the safest).Im a BIG GULP guy and prefer the bigger cup.And forget about one of those door cup holders, they dont really hang very well in these cars and definately not a hanging BIG GULP cup.So anyway i was able to modify one of those hanging cup holders so that it became a cup extender in the cup holder. It is very secure and makes me very happy

Dude who you telling.Whose bright idea was it to make a cup holder thats not even an inch deep.Ill have to say this little extender is working great(even around curves lol).Still the other stupid thing is they built it up on the console(rather than recessed)so it sits right at the drivers elbow/arm.

Not to mention it is so close and above the shifter. To change gears i still have either do TREX arms or wrap my arm around the cup to shift haha. However i have already bumped it with my arm and it at least stayed in place.YING AND YANG I GUESS.

I can if i wanted too.I dont want to.But if i did its attached around the bottom by a large velcro strip (on bottom and circled around the bottom of extender.Once its in there it is super secure or i can pull it out and close as usual.
