Ok,I have a set of hids that are the high/low in one bulb kind.
Today, both my low beams were out,but the high beams work fine.
Dose any one know what happen or how to fix it.
I truthly do not know near to anything about these lights.
I have just had them a month or two.

Where's your relay for the low's located? I'm assuming you have a seperate harness that is hooked up and supplying power since our cars have the worlds smallest gauge headlight supply wiring.

Check the fuse and relay. If your relay is located in the bumper cover area..it might be shot. I recently helped a friend diagnose this and we found that his relay had gotten water in it and stopped working.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Thats a idea but i have 4 boxes in total.
It would be strange for 2 of them dieing out in one day so im going with the relay being fried from water damage.

Again if anyone knows how to check the relays, how to remove, and where to get replacements please dont be afraid to speak

This is wierd, They started working again.
The only thing i truly done was check the fuses.
Im thinking some water had got in the relays but dried out.

To never go though this again, where dose everyone stuff the boxes, relays, and the fuses.Pics or examples

First off...use some black electrical tape and tape up that connection so it is darn near waterproof.

Secondly..I'd suggest putting it in by the battery. I know my buddies reached over by the battery and that's where it still should be.

To check a relay, check for power on pins 30 and 87A. One should have power all the time from the fuse and the other gets power when the relay is actuated.

Here's a great site on all kinds of electrical stuff, I am linking you directly to the relay page.
