Don't go with vvme nothing but problems lately putting their kits on our GP's. I know 1 person here that successfully installed a vvme kit and it was WITHOUT their junk relay harness, it was connecting the spades directly into their headlight socket.
Go with ddm tuning hid kits, the wait me be a little longer but I've had 0 problems out of my kit. However I only use Morimoto H1 bulbs in my retro's that I do and only 5000k or 4300k IMO. 6000k is liveable but you want the most usuable light you can have 6000k tends to have hints of blue and 8000k will look "ricerish".
You will need a 9007 kit if you're putting hid's in your stock housings if your car is a 97-03. If you're putting them into bi-xenon morimoto projectors you'll need the H1 kit. Also for your fogs you'll need 880 kit so yes you will need 2 kits. Get relay harnesses if you want your ballast to function properly from the rip.
55w kits wash color out and are very unecessary. If you can't see with a 35w kit you're totally blind. If you favor color over light output then look to get harassed depending on your local cops. 8000k will get you pulled over eventually I'd almost bet money on it.

honestly go with whatever you want. youre still going to blind anyone coming towards you in traffic, even with them pointed down. i liked having them in my own car, but now that they are super cheap and everyone has them i realized that i hate them because they do nothing, but blind everyone else on the road.
go ahead and do a projector retrofit for the sake of everyone else that has to see the front of your car.
i'd say go with 8k's..mine are bright as **** with a light blue tint..both of mine are vvme and i never had any problems with them of the cops, and i got 10k's in my fogs to and there even brighter then my lows..but i got the colors i got because of the car of my car..i think that a white car looks better with blue lights..so if you have a light color car then go with 8k if you have a darker color car then go with white
Well, after being schooled on this issue by a few of you and listening to my neighbor/friend ***** about how bright mine were when they were shining through his front windows I decided to do a distance comparison between my 10k's and my gf's stock g6 headlights, this is what I seen (given crappy pic which does it no justice at all)
Needless to say I was embarrassed (never seen my lights from that far away before to realized how blinding they really were, lol) so I took the 10k's out until I can find a happy medium bulb. Thinkin about 4300's w/yellow fogs? Something diff, for me anyways. Does anybody run that combo? Pics?
I've even been flashed with stock, properly aimed headlights.

Yeah, I seen those on multiple threads, however I don't feel confident im "crafty" enough to assemble that. It looks really sweet and id really like a set, but I don't feel I have the patience or know how to do it correctly. Lol
