the cop said they had calls for 6 or 7 blocks worth of these kids and keyed cars, yet they still got away with it.
That is failure on the police's part... you would think after 2 or 3 they would be able to get infront of the crooks and catch them

Would rubbing compound be safe? Insurance wants 500 deductible lol. I also found a place that will give me a small bottle of my paint i would rather use the compound if it's safe? I only have 2 places in all of the scratches where my finger nail gets caught.

just fill the scratch with the touch up kit, use a razor blade to scrap off all the high spots and wet sand it, then spray some new clear over the area. check out dupli colors web site they got vids up there how to fix everything to do with paint.

Touching it would look better. I'm just worried about it being noticeable being though the scratches are so long.

search you tube, theres vids of everything on there. you'll see, most of the stuff ive seen turns out nice. dupli color has the products for you to fix/paint your whole car in your garage, with minimal tools.

and touch up paint alone always looks like chit, just a bad smear of paint over a scratch you can still see, it will never lay flat.

and wet sanding, your talking like 1200 grit and 1500, or higher, its not like your taking 80 grit to a piece of oak. your just smoothing out the paint over the scratch, and they sell clear in a spray can to coat it off with, its like seam less.

do it yourself, 25 bucks or drop it off and pay a lot more.
