Look for my thread in the visual section. It's called tinting tails, anyway I did this on my buddy's forte. It looked nice. On a gp, I've never done it but idrk how it'll look. I think they look better with full tint but do whatever you think looks good. After all it is your car, not ours if you have any tint questions, shoot me a pm
Yeaaaaaa they dont do anything in my car.
Mine are blown cause they just fill with water and rusted out the sockets so it shorts out the new bulbs intently
Well it's just for show in not really doing it for seeing, here in ca la area cops are a bit strict even though in the end it depends, but we can get away with tinted tails but leave the white alone. It's def illegal to have them tinted it's just depends how ur tint is justified, like if ur lights are still visible and give out a red light and a white reverse we are good.
tape off the white reverse lights with auto painters tape, like this.
while the tint spray was still wet i took off the tape, and cleared over everything.
this is 2 coats of tint, 5 coats of clear, sanded, and hand compounded and waxed, there are still very fine scratches, see only if you are looking for them from sanding, but the porter cable will fix that in due time. 2 coats will cherry them some, 3 will make them black, be careful how much you use, aka how slow or close you are with each pass.
and the reverse lights at night. that were taped off before tinting. stock bulbs.
takes 2 days to do it right, one day of sanding prep and painting and leaving it to set over night or 24 hours, then re wet sand and buff till your arms hurt some.
