As some of you know this car is my dd, therefore it only gets show mods, after doing some research i found out the GXP speedo was a plug and play.

So after hunting down a GXP speedo, i finally jumped the gun and bought it today locally.

    Onto the pictures

    The old

    The new:

I drove the car around the block to ensure that all gauges were in working condition. I couldnt be any happier.

Even with the difference in speedo limits there is no need to recalibrate??

70 and 80 are at about the same spot, and 140 and 180 are in about the same spot, so I imagine your speedo is off?

speedo's on GM's are typically 4000 pulses per mile. Relational space on the cluster usually doesn't factor in.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Who cares if it says GXP. That looks much cleaner! I'm feeling the need to source one now as well.

Yea, it says GXP,my car is far from being a GXP and by no means im claiming mine is one.
i just like the looks of it, ill probably look into removing the GXP logo but WHY? im the only one driving this car.

The differences between the stock GT cluster are:

-Metal brush look around the gauges and of course the black inside the gauges.
    -Smother/round numbers
-No intermitent lines in bewteen the speedo, tach and fuel gauge.
-The red line marks for the tach, fuel and temperature are smoother and solid.

    thanks
