They look like they're sitting exactly like my most recent retro....

As far as cross beam goes the worst part about it is getting the cutoffs from both projectors to meet up pefect so you don't have 2 big huge z's shining on the road. My next set I think I'm leaving the black housings as is and painting the shrouds black instead of the chrome on black look. Output pics will tell all.... get er done.

Also the reason you're not going to perfect them is because retrofitting 97-03 housings is a major pain in the di*k just admit it ahhaahha

Now would you do sets of retro's for any less than $250 labor for anyone, nope....

    Nice job tho boost!
i did shim mine with a rubber washer under neath my adjusters are half way up and they are plenty high from 25 feet back....4 ft high would be in peoples eyes the cutoff shouldnt end up higher than the proj itself....mine go straight out and i can see perfect.....ill try to take pics tonight.

My retro is perfect for what i needed: more output and highbeams that are functional....im not gonna go make them perfectly straight to gain 1 ft or 2 horizontally lol thats a waste.....its def a tedious job on the border of pain in the ass lol i wouldnt do retros for anyone period because i could just see perfectionists complaining about something that would be impossible to fix....people need to remember these werent ment to be proj so its gonna take alot of work and not gonna be 100% perfect no matter what.

Beautiful, your both making me want to do this. I like these (Black on Black) much more than the chrome on black *No Offense CleanGTP*, just personal preference. But I would probably apply a couple layers of tint to darken up the appearance thru the lenses, depends on how they look from 20-30 feet away :P

I might have to take a risk on this this summer, my headlights are horribly hazed and I need new ones. Would make a nice project to try before just buying new ones and throwing them on, or wasting money on the crap-jectors.

Do you think SilverStar Ultra 9007s would put out decent light with these projectors or would HIDs be necessary? I only ask because I don't want to rewire in ballasts and rewire the headlamps flashing with *lock/unlock* to clearance lights... just changing the appearance and projectors would be nice, IF they would work with stock bulbs

will not work with stock bulbs....they take a h1 bulb.....just get a 9007 bixenon harness and h1 hid bulbs to use with your current ballasts and its all plug and play. you will have to rewire the headlight flash with hids unless you wanna burn up the ballasts.
