Ok so basically I received these black housing headlights off ebay and installed them. After much aiming my light output was still horrible, there were so many shadows and lines everywhere it was ridiculous. I believe it is because the reflective mirror backing isn't consistent with the oem "checkerboard design" alogn with their own product pictures. Here is what I mean guys.

Anyways what should I do. This is ridiculous!

I think he already has them. Just look at the shape of the bulb.

yes 9007. You can see there are very few reflectors on the back of the housing compared to the ones showed in the seller picture.

And should that little blue thing along side the bulb (not sure what it is maybe for the high beames?) but anyways should that be like on top as shown in the pic? Or is that irrelevant?

I think your bulb is in upside down, because mine look different.

I went out and snapped a picture of mine and how they look, These are 9007 single beam HIDs. I dont have that line problem.

it really shouldnt matter how segmented the reflective housing is. I really think its your bulb placement as well as the black housings. Way i see it, if you have part of the housing painted black, light cant reflect around in the housing as much, therefore, making the pattern weird.

i also know that stock housings with hids have bad light output. mine did, but i added some hid fogs and it made it one big, wide, beam of light out in front of my car.

well one of bulbs are very off so I will fix that but honestly I know its going to have bad light output but literally there are big shadows and distinct lines of light and such. One beam was like a U shaped while the other while just a circle. But the U shaped one is with the bulb placed really bad so that might be it?
