Thread: I need opinions

So I got bored and painted my front fascia. Well the paint I bought was suppost to be just silver duplicolor.... it turned out nice on the grills but looks like the cheap chrome spray on the bumper. It's kind of growing on me but I'm not sure if I like it? It makes me feel like I'm junking up my car. I'm kind of scared to hear your guys's opinions.....

Honestly it only took me like 15 minutes, taping was not bad at all, the only problem was the silver overspray got on a few pieces behind where I painted but flat black covered it all up perfect.

^Agree looks very nice, Infact what color duplicolor did you use, I am thinking about doing it to mine

well I thought about it, but I've got chrome torque stars on their way to my door

polished i guess is what I mean't. I like them all black, but I'm gettin tired of it really quick. Every car I've ever owned has been blacked out so I'm trying to go for something diffrent then my usual taste...

I like it. I think the polished wheels will make it look even better, too.

3 things...

1) Paint thinner to your grilles...silver looks bad
2) Wet Sand and buff your corners...looks like typical VHT Fail
3) Front valance looks good. I like it

the corners are just flat black. and yeah, I don't know what I was thinking with the grills

the fascia looks very nice! i like the contrast in that area! maybe paint the calipers to match?

i think the grills would look kinda unique and better if the mesh was black? but kept the silver outline around it? idk, just an idea or thought to think about.

Or, just mask off the middle of the grille and still paint it...btw...I said I liked it...where was my thanks ya fak?

What if I do this with my grill, like lowlyfe did but paint the grill flat black and around the grill silver? anyone good at photoshop?

I think i'm going to do that to my car when the weather warms up
