No, I wouldn't do 3000k. I don't think 3000k looks good. Whatever you decide to do, make both your headlights and fogs match. I just bought a HID kit from the retrofitsource, and its probably the best kit I've purchased. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Do you still feel this way? Anyone else have an opinion on this? I have to buy a set of H1's for my retrofits and want to make sure it's justified to spend 4x what I did on my old ones from DDM that I never really had any problems with other than a ballast that didn't always want to fire up right away. A flick of the headlight switch fixed this, but it was annoying. I spent good money on my retrofits, I don't want to cheap on on the hid kit. As long as it's justifiable.

If I had the money, I would def get the TRS package. My DDM are just a little too quirky and being able to see is a priority.
I have not ever come across a cross word about TRS bulbs or ballasts. TRSs customer service is supposed to be exemplary and that is comforting to know... unlike DDM.

Yes, I still feel the same way about them. They are the best ones I've owned. They fire up really nice and don't need as long to warm up as other brands. I would also recommend Diode Dynamics HIDs. They are cheaper than TRS and they offer a lifetime warranty, which TRS doesn't offer. I put Diode Dynamics HIDs in my car.
