My brother has 5 Amber LED setups behind the tint of the rear window and 2 Amber LEDs one on each side of the License Plate. His are a bit brighter, but they are also all Whelen and cost like five times as much as mine. My total Price was about $110.Originally Posted by matt5112
One Whelen Amber Slim Lighter LED is $130. So to get a similar effect of solid amber it would cost $260 without all the installation parts for 2 Slim Lighters. They are a bit brighter but you can't get them in a split Amber/White. So when you consider I have whites as well, the white LEDs stand out more than Ambers. Plus they don't sell this version anymore, the new version has Super LEDs and costs $235 each.
