a rubber bumper cracks when reinstalled, I have never had an issue with clear peeling from tape, but I had a woman do the taping that all she did was tape, and was great at it. (I also worked in a dealer body shop, and we always reinstalled rubber parts before spraying as they would quite often bend enough to crack the paint) but this is just one of many methods to doing a proper production job (a show job is a totally different animal all together, and I always paint those blown apart, and all parts at once) I used the computer mixing, and have had to go back and fix the mix on them also (GM specifies a 10 step grade on their colors at the factory or at least used to)
