when did they put the LS3 in trucks? the LS2 made it in the trailblazer, but i thought the trucks were LQ4 and LQ9 for the 6.0L, and then the vortec 4.8 and 5.3

    holden

was just test fitting once again, for height and clearances with the hood, no issues.

the upper intake is going to be modified to fit a 90mm ls1 TB, the holden stock tb neck will be cut off and the tb will flare out into a rectangle on the side of the uper intake to keep the same area as the 90mm TB, no bottle necking then for optimal flow.

im going o be reinstalling the wire harness, mounting the Power steering resovoir, and cleaning up the engine bay tomorrow. i also have to cange the valve covers around.

you can see how much free room the drive side has for the turbo kit now, can fit a 3.5" downpipe in with no problems it appears.

i will be running stainless braided fuel lines in the car aswell, was getting the measurements with the intake and fuel rail in aswell.

its been a fairly long proces but its finally getting there

    more pics tomorrow

02 Grand Prix GT Intercooled turbo 5-speed 718whp 618wtq @ 21psi 7575 billet, spool valve, custom manifolds, 4" downpipe, 16way adjustable coilovers, 18x9.5 with 275's all around, gxp interior, gxp brakes
tilton triple disc, custom aluminum flywheel, tilton slave and master, an awful lot more

This is the exact kind of thing I like to see done to these cars. Something more then just pulley drops and SLP this and ZZP that. All hand made. and thoroughly researched parts being melded together to make something unique and different. Good job so far man. Can't wait to see this thing done.

I could't agree more it's nice to see a person have a better car not because they have more money but because they have more knowlage and use it to put together a unique one of a kind that will be remembered by many people for a long time coming.

wow so i just read most of this thread... so much hate lol - im not mad.. just disappointed

IMO This is by far the sickest project that's going on right now in the 3800 world that I know of.. by far.. (besides my setup of course haha jk

I'd like to see someone else take a turn posting pics and info like this...

This is why we come here isn't it?.. for things like this... and when we are having problems with our BBV or chasing some strange misfire.

put the numbers aside for a minute and take a look at all the creativity, custom work and fun going on here and tell me you aren't impressed.. I sure as hell am.

haha ps - i love how your friend backpacked with a holden upper intake and lim ahaha... you owe her alright!

Its almost August... let's get these cars finished boys and post some pics and videos... mine is going in for exhaust on Saturday.. Im crusin' this weekend with M90 and PT-61 power.

the fact that he made it a 5 speed was awesome enough for me lol. this is just amazing!

i 100% agree! this is the reason im here, to see crazy $hit like this! and help out those who need it..

i wasnt around back in the day to see the crazy Intense and ZZP builds that were done so its cool to see someone doing something like this, and whos not a vender with infinite money too.
