i was at a stoplight when a 2004 i think eclipse gts v6 pulls up. he's revvin his motor and thinkin he's badass, light turns green and i just stomped on it and walk away like nothin. and he was really hittin those gears i could see the front bounce up and down as he shifted in my rearview mirror. i loved every minute of it

thanks guys. i'm pretty proud of my GP. but i do have to say that the members on this site are the nicest, coolest people ever. GP owners here are way to hard core for these cars, don't get me wrong i love grand prixs but they take it over board here in Grand rapids, MI. just thought i'd say that you guys ROCK!!!!

there are some pretty hardcore GP people here, and that just makes it all the better when you have questions, or need something. i know that from experience.

Awsome kill!! I remember way back when i had my '97 grand prix gt coupe and i tryed racing a tricked out murcury cougur with the 5speed and the old gp held up pretty good but i didnt win, it was the last generation cougur btw. Hahaha i also remember whenever i beat on the gp and as soon as i parked it smoke would always come pouring out of the hood and the manifolds always were on fire seriously, soo i always carried a bottle of water with me lol. That thing had 164k on it damn.

Nice kill man, I beat on the same kind of Car with my GP GT/P a few months back..
We went off of a green, and i pulled probably 20 car lengths on him and he was rolling in a 06' GTS...pretty funny. i was laughing the whole time. : )

20 car lengths? I know they are slow but not THAT slow. They got a 263HP MIVEC V6...they still throw down 15's in the quarter, pretty good for a stock N/A V6 IMO.

Dont get me wrong they are ugly as hell though and scream PHAGGGGG

i have the top end swap on my GT, along with headers, chipped and tuned, CAI (its making around 296hp).

And he was in a manual, so he might have made some driver errors.

    Good kill!
Last summer when I was buying a new car it was actually between an Eclipse GT and the GP, glad I went with the GP.
& I agree, everyone on here is awesome, I wouldn't know half the things I do about my car if it weren't for youguys.
