the only diff with the comp g's is gearing. 329 vs 293. little stiffer suspension also. the torque management is not near as bad as what people make it out to be. i can spin my tires all the way threw first and well damn, maybe i need a little more torque management. i can also cut pretty much just as fast of a 60 foot compared to older gtps. and i also had 45psi in my tires. the only time i can kinda feel torque management is when i drop first from a roll, i can feel it kinda easing in to it but after a second its fully in it. and yess they are about 100 pounds heaver but the 20 more hp makes up for that. ive had no problems with older gtps. im sure they were all stock tho. the comp g is pretty much set up for better handeling.

to the op. you shouldent have a problem with the gt. i think they did away with the 3.29 gearing for the newer models and have the long 2.93's so yall have the same gearing but you have a supercharger. should be no problem if your car is running good.

Blowfish and I have similar mods and pull about the same 60' times. He's in a Comp-G and im in a 99 GTP. It's all about the driver.

ZZP says they have pulled a 1.9 60' on street tires, but I wonder what mods they had? Im close with a 2.02, but I still need to play with tire pressure a bit. Im probably going to wait till Ice Breakers in the spring before I go back to the track. By then it might get ugly lol.
