I was making my point, not thread jacking.

Thought the Mustang was your brother's?

    Relevance?

Think how a Mustang plays into this...it doesn't.

part ownership now, no need to have 2 summer cars atm. specially since i would just pick up another mustang.
could keep arguing all day but why? you never agree anyways lol. be another 9 page thread of bs if we continue. I should of just kept my fingers off the keyboard, arguing on the internet is pointless.

I don't get why we mod or cars to over 300hp and then knock them for sucking? My car is no f”ing slouch, and I've owned my share of camaro's.

I've had Corvettes, a Trans Am, two BMWs, etc. My GTP is probably faster than my '86 Corvette, surely faster than my 3-series BMW, and a toss up with my 540i. It's slower than my T/A was but not as comfortable. This GTP is the only car I've kept for this long. That's because over all it's my favorite.

Just like 3800's, 3V's are slow unless boosted. Relevance found, initiate mustang hate mode, ready the launch shuttle for cobalt bashing no later than page 7. If unable, ready 3.4 for LS1 ownage and advise.

Not when stock street cars under 40K run that or faster.

So a 12.6 is fast but a 13.2 is slow? Sounds more like fast and faster. Doesn't an 11Sec car make a Mustang slow even if it cost more?

This section is good for the telling of kill stories, whether good or bad, harrassing follow GPF members, and the general sharing of opinions on what is "fast" or "slow". I can list many things off the top of my head that gets more hate than a na GP here, mustangs, cobalts, and civics to name a few. It's all in good sport, or at least it should be. If you guys start running around getting butthurt, then this section would not be fun. And "fun", is really the best purpose this section serves.

If some of you guys can't take a little ribbing, then it's probably best to just not even bother with section at all. And FWIW, this is one of the more kinder, gentler "kill sections" out there.

never want to spend time with me....what do you think the (average) quick car you will line up against on the street run? civic, mustang, whatever?
i bet you the average street racing kid that we run on this forum, if they hit high 13's i would be surprised. so a 13.2,-13.7 car will be a decent street car and especially because it costs next to nothing to mod a gtp.
headers for my 72 satellite cost more money. i would beat the **** out of a tundra, a fake wrx, an eclipse, your typical street mustang and camaro. so i don't get the 3800 hate.

Only mustangs I know that are modded are serious machines that either started out as 12 second machines or ended up there with work.

See how our samples are useless?
