This makes me somewhat hopeful. No I dont have a cam or rockers, but I plan on going e85 sometime this summer along with mods in my sig.

Get some 130#'s on there ya nancy and take it back. Whats a rough estimate you think you'd run in the 1/4? No one else has to start bench racing im just asking the OP.

Well the goal is 11's. & I doubt I can do it with this 3.0 tune. I'm sure with traction, I'm very deep 12's. This is based off my last track time of 12.7 without traction (1.9xx) 60ft, the peak power gained, & the way the power curve improved. I actually may sell my rollers instead of getting a higher pressure spring. This would cure the float and allow for more boost ,Which I feel is really all that is necessary to see 11's right now. My power curve may be affected, but I'd be able to rev higher to keep it in the strongest part of the powerband. But thats just an Idea I'm juggling.

    VS cam build 13.01@107 316whp/ XP build #1 12.78@110 334whp/ XP build #2 12.56@113 347whp
IS3 Cam build (Ready to put out some serious numbers)

I only ran a 3" pulley due to valve float issues after 6100rpm with the ls6 springs at 570 lift. (Xp cam + yella terra 1.7 roller rockers) So instead of getting on the record boards (like I originally intended) we tuned for max safety & efficiency in terms of head/exhaust flow, timing (21*), & boost. (Only 11.5-12 pounds through the ported heads by shift points) Any one who knows the nature of valve float knows boost is only gonna add to the problem. Maximizing my build for the mods I have will be a matter of stronger springs, and a smaller pulley at this point. The fact that most overdriven 2.55 builds don't crack 350whp lets me know I'm doing something right. & I'm not even intercooled. Not to bench race, but I feel comfortable saying that this 340horse build would gladly entertain a good race with most 360-370whp w-bodies. The powerband has been manipulated by compression & head flow dynamics to run much stronger from 0 to peak horse rpm. After adding a gen V, ported heads & roller rockers, The power curve literally improved enough for me to be happy with a less than 10 peak whp gain. But enough babbling for me. Long story short, please don't mistake these numbers for a cap on the power potential of the car(the way it sits). It would be a terrible misconception.
everything about this post explains everything about why i like you as a person. you legitimately know what you're talking about and you don't try and push people around with your ego.

you made great gains on a "small cam" where most would be pissed off that they didn't get the gains they wanted. this setup is legit and i can only feel it going places.
