what year altima? There is 3 different body style. 02-05, 06-08, and the 08 coupe.
Did you race from a dig or from a roll? They loose power around 115-120mph...like most cars
Do you have any mods?
tell us info man haha
i had just about the exact same experence. looked like a brand new one. i pulled slightly down low then he pulled back up then after about 90 i started to pull away. the new ones are a good bit faster than the old ones i have raced.
im not sure of year but it was definitely newer maybe 07 or 08.we started from where a stretch of highway goes from 45 to 55 mph...from a rolling start at about 50 mph... i have 3.25 pulley.. intense pcm..thrasher intake..cat back flow master exhaust with u bend delete.. 160 degree thermo..hi performance plugs and wires..complete brake upgrade..upgraded front and rear tower braces front and rear sway bar upgrade..and half inch trans pan and hopefully a whole lot more to come!!! :] 89000 miles...i absolutely love a Grand Prix GTP!!! i let off gas at 135mph he didnt want any more lol
only if the alti had some mods...they can get pretty fast with just intake/exhaust...there stock setup is pretty restrictive. They do that on purpose thought to keep Z and maxima sales good
dang yea i say he had to be modded a little bit to keep up with you. your car should move out pretty good. do you have a down pipe or ported manifolds?? if not headers or something would really help out with your performance some.
to be totally honest...i just got this car about 3 months ago it already had exhaust on it.myself personally havent been under it yet...i am thinking about some headers.any reccomendations on a good setup? possibly any other budget friendly mods i can use with what i have now?
to run that small of a pulley some kind of headers or portied stock manifolds and a downpipe would be a good idea to reduce KR. pace setters are cheap headers. about 350 but they have issuies getting them to seal completly. but with some clamps and rtv that can be taken care off. idk pretty much you get what you pay for. most headers are around 600$ but i would get headers over ported stock manifold cause you will get better wide open performance. if your on a budget pacesetters are the way to go just seal them up good.
