As for the catback, i wouldnt worry about it till you start modding hard. If you looking for sound your better off going with the mufflers of your choice. Id do a u-bend delete, pem, and pcm and then scan scan scan before thinking about a pulley.
dang. my autolites were about 7-8 dollars a plug. and yea u bend delete and downpipe would net you more gains. and there is not much of a point in getting a whole cat-back when all you want is sound (i dont know if thats what your going for) but you can do that with just mufflers
$7-8 for autolites? You live in Canuckastan???
INTENSE-Racing.com: Autolite® Copper Core Spark Plugs
can get them chaeper @ AZ or Walmart...
Not just sound. I just installed my K&N FIPK Cold Air Intake kit and it improved the sound so much more. An increase in hp is what im really going for, but i suppose if you guys don't think that the full exhaust is worth it....
The SLP exhaust is $500 i believe. How much would just mufflers, tips and ubend delete run in comparison to that?
Around $300 bucks sounds close(might be cheaper if you can weld yourself), with the $200 saved you could order a PCM![]()
my autolite 104's were 44 bucks from zzperformance. and a ubend delete and a downpipe would problew net you more power than a cat-back. full exhaust would be headers, or ported manifolds, down pipe, then cat-back. the catback dont really net you much performance unless you already have alot of power. its more for sound..
and trans brake FTMFW!!! hell no i wouldent race that
ha whatever. they were a nice step up from stock i can tell you that much. i tend to go over kill sometimes![]()
ya the AL104 coppers are great! you have to replace them just about every other oil change, and recommend a fresh set @ the track but @ ~$1 ea. its nbd!
I'd rather run a set at the track just for track use, makes it easier to trouble shoot![]()
