I was going to say. DO you realize how much of a saftey hazard that speaker is? Watch some saftey videos on crash testing. That speaker would become a projectile in a head on crash. ( Worked in Saftey, Autoliv Asp, )
wtf? theres a tweeter like 2 inches to the left that you could have upgraded instead of causing a large visual obstruction....
Coming from the guy who doesn't know how to either write down a tire size nor pick the correct one.
Know what sounds even better? When you put as many speakers on the dash as possible and tape them to the dash with duct tape.
You can't see anything, but it sounds amazing!
Of if you want it to sound even better, tape them to the windshield.
I plan on it.
This is what you need, forget that other ****. All you need are some subs and some HAT speakers!

Yaman, just pour cement in your doors, its what the pros do.
You guys are so stuck on what "looks cool" you have a complete disregard for understanding sound theory or even application of knowledge. Forget about what his photo transpired in terms of asthetics. He put together a low level dipole array matched with his mid to create a near point source setup.
It's not hard to make something go boom and assume it's a good system. Playing accurate or tuning to a specific response curve isn't as easy as it looks. If you gave some idiot a bag full of shti and told'em it's gold when they've never seen either in their entire life...I'm sure they might be ecstatic. Same thing happens when you roll up with your "system". If they lived with shti their whole lives and had no clue...anything is better than nothing.

Youguys think my topswap setup can take my friend's GST? Mods are in sig, I'll also have a 3" dp, high-flow cat, and hopefully a PL then.
