got 4 runs in. temps were ~60* and dropped to ~50* as the night progressed.
1st run:
i wasnt certain where my boost was set at so i did my first run to see where it was. brake torqued at 2K RPMs and eased into it. noticed as i was getting off the line the tires werent spinning so i gave more and more throttle til it was floored. hit full boost and let it rip. went to pick my time slip:
60' - 2.35
1/8 - 8.66
MPH - 89.08
1/4 - 13.046
MPH - 112.7
i was ONLY boosting ~12-12.5psi
2nd run:
so i realized i'll run again the same way and get on the throttle at the line alot more
60' - 2.25
1/8 - 8.51
MPH - 89.04
1/4 - 12.89
MPH - 112.97
3rd:
i upped the boost a couple turns
got on it hard off the line and then *BOOM* no boost and the car felt like it lost all of its power after the 1/8 mile and i just coasted. took the road going back to the pit and the car was idling rough and then stalled on me. i knew what it was......the rubber adapter between the tb and the LQ4 maff blew off from the tb side and caused alot of unmetered air. rehooked everything back up and lowered the boost lol.
i dont recall the time but i ran a 14.0@86mph
4th and last run:
ran at unknown boost level:
60' - 2.25
1/8 - 8.64
MPH - 87.06
1/4 - 13.13
MPH - 109.9
this was on ~11psi after i looked over my logged scans
btw this is on stock tc , otherwise i'd be able to brake torque up to like 3K RPMs in my 2750 stall and get into boost a whole lot quicker. kinda disappointed but then again i broke into the 12s![]()
