I have a 07 SC car...The L67 is the better "block" that is found in the 03-. I have the better SC GenV but it takes MORE supporting mods to drop a pulley. In a Gen3 to drop the basic 3.4 you only need colder plugs, some exhaust work, thermostat. In the Gen5 you need cam and headers on top of the basic stuff. Your block my SC.....now that would be great! IMO!! And could be why you see most people putting the Gen5 on the L67 block. And also just because your a girl doesnt mean you can't launch a car.....You have to practice! But I could be WAYYY wrong and if I am im pretty sure I will be corrected. But I have the better SC but harder to drop pulley sizes...You have the better block with the "crappy" SC but cheaper to drop pulley sizes.

really the only reason there is a need for more breathing mods on the newer grand prix is because of the blower. it is more efficient, so it runs more boost for less pulley. the bottom end can be broken just as easily. dont let other people try to sway you. if youre not knocking then youll be fine.
