Enkei Wheels - Performance Wheels - KLAMP
18"
Not sure if 7.5" x 45mm or 8.5" x 42mm - which is better?
Bore size is ok.
I haven't decided on the rubber yet, but probably Portenza's, but open to suggestions.
TIA for your ideas!

i like the black with red strip, looks pretty tight
I know I'm kicking up old dust, been working crazy since Feb., so I finally got a chance to order these out. Got the 18x8.5's with Portenza pole position RE970AS 225/45/18's...
I had the Portenza's on my Torque Stars and are great tires, so stayed the same here...
Pic's when on car!
should have went with 245s..
225s on a 8.5" wheel is going to look stretched..
Actually for whatever reason, or how it happened, I can SWEAR that I clicked on the 245's when ordering... I received 255's... Lol, bait n switch?
Now at first I was freaking out cause I was worrying about fitment issues, and when I looked at them they looked so damn wide! But I put them on the car, and they look great! The ride is a little bit different from the 225/45/16's I had on the stock Torque Stars, but overall I like it. It's a little tighter and a bit 'truck-ish'... But like it nonetheless...
Pics when I get home.
yea, 255s are even better. A little bigger than stock tire size, but at least you will have more meat for pot holes.
Ok, after a week of driving or so, I can tell you that even with the new strut/springs and suspension, the 255's rub in the rear on the bottom of the spring perch on the strut.
It's only on pretty deep road impressions or 90 (hard) turns at a good clip/speed. Overall I'm not worried about it but just thought I'd put it out there.![]()
