My rear left wheel somehow got damaged on the inside edge. So now I'm trying to figure out what is best to do. Seems the wheel isn't made from GM anymore, so the best the dealer could do was find a wheel of the same type that someone had in stock. But I don't think it's directly from GM. It cost $736 though. Here are my options that I've thought of so far:
    1) Find an aftermarket reproduction of the wheel that is basically the same exact thing but not from GM. Anyone know where I can find a company that makes them?
    2) Find a junk yard rim that is in good shape. Hard to do since my wheel was the most expensive option and came with the car when I bought it used. I have some local junk yards I can contact.
    3) Buy the GM part that they suggested that is the same exact wheel just costs $736. That's alot for just one wheel I think.
    4) Change all 4 of the wheels to the same style that is silver instead of chrome. That part is still available from GM and costs far less. I could also get it from gmpartdirect.com and similar sites.
    5) Change all 4 of the wheels to a completely aftermarket part. I've been considering a 5 Spoke Black Polished Wheel. Anyone know of a good quality but well priced company that may offer them?

Those are my options, of course if I buy all 4 new wheels then I have to attempt to sell my current ones. Anyone know a good asking price for these? 2 of them are original but 1 I got in 2009 brand new. I'm hoping that if I was to sell the ones I own that this whole ordeal might not cost too much out of pocket.

Any help with this would be awesome. If you have any suggestions for companies to look at for wheels or any helpful information I'd be very thankful. Also, I'm trying to look up what bolt pattern and offset I have to be sure that I look at correct replacements. Does anyone know what they are for my car? I have the 17'' Wheels. My tire size is P225/55R17. I've posted up two pictures to better show what wheels i currently own.

what happened to the damaged rim....did you take it to a shop to try and fix it? Cheapest OEMs I have ever seen online were like $300 apiece...Ahhhh I don't think so...Some one had some on here not to long ago.....those things flake , peel and leak so bad I would think you can barely give them away. I know I have them..
Its definately a signal to start the hunt for new wheels all around.....Tire-Rack and Discount Tire allow you to see the wheels on your car..time to customize the whip!

I was wondering about fixing the rim. The inside edge of the rim somehow got hit, maybe a pothole or some other object. So it has a bit of a dent in it which I can feel the wobble effect while driving. I wasn't sure if it was possible or not to fix it.

I'm starting to think about replacing all 4. I like the black wheel look since I have a black car.The problem I keep running into is it seems the current rims are 17''x6.5'' on a 5x115mm bolt pattern. Atleast that's what I've found out so far. And when I look at 17'' rims they want to sell 17''x7.5'' on a 5x115mm bolt pattern. Does the 6.5'' vs. 7.5'' difference matter? I have Yokohama Avid ENVigor 97V P225/55R17 Tires so I want to be sure these will fit the new rims without any problems.

Any other suggestions or tips from people? If I sell the ones I have, any idea how much they would be worth each?

Seeing how you are in Florida, I would think they are in good shape. Shine em up good, inside and out, $75 apiece, one with slight ding ya know, seems fair.

    Any luck with wheel choices?

I like the bottom one the most. But the top one is another option. Seems rather hard to find black rims that are a 5 spoke that don't look ridiculious. I prefer the 5 spoke look but i'm not completely against the 6 spoke. My car is themed red/black so I've been considering rims that have a bit of red on them but I'm not completely sure about it. I don't want it to look like a ricer. lol

Looks like I won't get either. Stock rims are being fixed through insurance and I doubt I can sell my stock rims for enough money to make replacing the rims a financially sound solution. Besides, contacted the company and they said they wouldn't be producing more of them till maybe the summer.

Does anyone know if the 18" wheels from a Pontiac G6 will fit my 2008 Grand Prix? Thanks!

I believe that the bolt pattern on a G6 is 5x110. Not the same as the 5x115 on the Grand Prix.

I just want to make sure im reading this correctly, So a 18x9 +35 will fit ok witout spacer's or ripping my fenders and quarter panels apart? Im looking at these wheels but before i order them want to make sure they arent too aggressive when i lower. Plan on ordering some ssc lowering springs on GR-2's. What size tire would be best? 245/45?

You will want to roll your fenders.

Yes 245/45/18 are the correct size

Will they sit flush or stick out? This offset game is different then what i'm used to. I come from the truck world where a 20x9 0 offset will sit flush with the fender flares.

those are gonna be very wide for a car that isn't lowered, running stock alignment specs. they'll most likely sit outside of the fenders a little more than you want them to.

i would say that "flush" on a grand prix (flush = straight even with the fender, stock alignment) is about 18x8 +30mm (ish). will those be good if you are in the market to lower and run a little more camber than stock? yup. do most people do it that way? nope.
