Manual says 30 psi F/R for stock, I usually run at 33 or so, it firms up the ride a little.

For you guys with 245/45-18 tires, what PSI do you run? Don't want them too hard with that short sidewall, but too low on the PSI will overheat them. What's the consensus?

I run 38 psi, max pressure on the tires I have is 44 psi... I guess it just depends on what you're comfortable with.

That's about what I was thinking. Is the ride harsh?

35psi in these cars is better than 30psi for sure.

You could run 25psi if you wanted to but it's just going to cause wear and you won't overheat them on a road car like this. 40-45psi is near the limit of most tires and that's like riding in a lumber wagon.

Not for me, but my suspension needs refreshed and these tires are a few years old... Tread is still good though.

Seems logical to me that the 245/45-18 would need to run at higher pressure than stock 225/65-16, but thats a guess on my part. New wheels and tires will behere tomorrow, i am thinking of starting at 37 and seehow it goes

If that was really the case, then corvettes with 315/30/20's would be running 45-50psi because the sidewalls are so small.

Sidewall strength is increased on lower profile tires already, running more psi is just going to make the tire harder and more stiff. 40-45 series sidewalls are so popular today anyway, I wouldn't worry about the sidewalls at all with bumps/cracks in the road.

36 because then I know I have the 35 in it. I was doing 38 but squinting on those lines hurts my eyes.
The one over the big dash works for me. Anything less and it seems mushy

Good point, I think I will start at 33. Interesting info on plus sizing here.
