So I've never had tears well up in a movie theater till the end of this movie. It was fantastic. It made me proud to be an American. And I wish more people had the ethic he did. He wasn't just protecting the country he was protecting everyone dude was a true American bad ass. Rip chris

So. I was more then just a little disappointed with the way the Oscars turned out last night. Thought this movie should have been a runaway with best picture... But the Liberals in Hollywood stole it from American Sniper.

Nah... A conspiracy would indicate they wanted to hide how they felt. There is no conspiracy here. They just snubbed it.

My thoughts on the "Academy" is this, they only nominated the film because of the box office numbers and because not nominating it would have made them look "Anti-American."

The fact is the film never stood a chance at winning. Look at this years winner and previous winners, Birdman, 12 Years a Slave, Argo, The Artist, The King's Speech, etc. The Academy only votes for independentesque movies to win any more. The chances of movies like American Sniper ever winning an Oscar again are gone.
