When I was calling around for prices the dealership mentioned that you should use wd40 so that's what I did..... im assuming you referring to the rubber bushings and not the plastic spacers?

WD40 swells the rubber so I wouldn't use it for this application. I like Bill's teflon tape idea.

I'll certainly be buying a fresh roll of tape along side the new rubbers
