why is the transmission cable so long, it comes out from the firewall then rises up near the hood then drops back down by the driver side wheel well and finally connects to the transmission near the bottom of the engine, must be 3' in length, could just come out from the firewall and down to the transmission and be done with it but no it has to go the long way.
    wtf?
Is there a good reason its like this?
