ya a buddy of mine is doing a 7.3 diesel swap in his 79 f-250 and the engine is like a 90s i think and he said it has 250k on it and when he rebuilt it it still had the factory honing so he did nt have to t o anything to the cylinder walls

thats because its a navistar built motor not a ford
