i really dont understand why you would not lock your house. Is someone you know gonna need to come in? do they not have a key? are you lazy and not feel like switching a lock?

i know you trust ppl, but still. I wonder if you told your insurance company that you dont lock your doors, would they raise your rates?? If i was an agent, i would raise them on you. higher risk customer.

and question....if you caught someone breaking into your car, would you be sued if you beat them within an inch of their life? i know shooting them in the leg is illegal, but seriously, i think ppl wouldn't break into cars knowing that someone could come running from the house with a shotgun lol

Well at least they didn't crack your rear windshield, pry off your sunroof, and then smash your center console to get it... That's what happened to my Gp last night...and they took two ipods, an fmtransmitter, and my insurance cards...Taints.

Some degenerate piece of crap broke the window in my Monte and took nothing. Well, actually, he took my wallet out of the console, grabbed the 5 or so dollars in it, then dropped the wallet with all the good stuff on the ground in front of my car.

i hardly ever lock mine anymore unless im in a bad area. I stayed at my girlfriends house one night and while we were asleep someone stole her moms car out of the carport with it locked and a motion sensitive flood light but didnt touch my car that was parked on the steet with the doors unlocked. criminals are dumb as ****. the way i figure it if someone passed up my car for a locked vw bug i dont really need to worry about it. and if they decided to steal my $75 system off craigslist theyd probably be more upset about it than i would. lol

if it wasnt an automatic front wheel drive four door grandmas car it would be really nice
Mods?? What the f#ck is a mod??

I don't usually lock my car in the driveway. I have a 14 acres farm, set an 1/8th mile back from the road so you can't even see the house or cars.

But I *DO* lock the house up when we left. No sense in tempting fate.

omg I know right? If you didn't lock your car in Jersey you'd probably find two people fighting each other on who gets into it first.

I can say I have never had a car broken into but I keep mine locked 24/7 and hide my stuff. Any ipods go in the house with me, radar detector is hidden, aftermarket headunit faceplate taken off and hidden or in the house with me. How do you keep someone honest? Do not temp them. You leave a 100$ bill laying on your seat someone will probably break your crap to get it.
