It is as easy as it looks. Here is my install: clicky clicky. The wires (on my '02 GT) were yellow for power and black for ground.

Make sure you triple check the stem on your mirror. I followed their online directions to the T, and ended up choosing the smaller mount. Had to wait an extra week for the correct one.
