No, Miata's are too little for me. My eclipse is small enough, but Miata's are in a whole nother ball park.

And yes Slowpoke, I get to only choose 1...cause I have bad-luck XD.

And if I do go for a swapped car, Im only going to do so after extremely thorough research, and inspection.

I'd only grab a Mustang if it was a steal...Cause you know, supercharged v8's are pretty nifty, but they'd be outta my price range, hence, steal.

I like the S13's, they are pretty comfy, dont look bad, and have lots of aftermaket, same with the Eclipse. But for some reason, I really dig the Saab wagons...probably because they are just so neato.

I thought about a truck...even like a Canyon/Colorado...but we're still debating on if the wagon is gonna get turned into an El Camino. (save a lot of weight too)

I dont intend on modifying what I get, beside the basic bolt-ons, and probably paint, (leaning towards something with a rough paint finish, to low ball them, and just paint it myself)

Maybe some suspension, been having fun playing with this GS's setup

I've been liking the idea of a wagon recently. I almost bought a 2000ish Volvo V70R AWD several months ago that was listed for ~$6K. They're not much to look at, so it could be a cool sleeper. Unfortunately I haven't seen any R models for sale up here since.

You could look at a vw passat wagon if you are wanting a wagon. They come with the 1.8t and 5 speed and if your lucky you can find one with 4-motion.

Haha, Nice tcman49...I think i'll do that.

Also, Im assuming that the 27+MPG is with the stock rear end, and flow mods, on the highway?

What are they like around town??

Depends how you drive 'em. Wife's big stalled A4 gets ~20 in town and 26-27 on the highway. M6 car gets 20-21 in town, 27-29 on the highway.

I would either save money to get something decently legit or get an S10 extreme.

S10 xtreme's are just...not meant to do any 1 thing good.

They arent good at being trucks, arent good at being cool, and arent good at being fast.

Yes, you can make them into one of the above catagories..but something about a body kit, on a little quick truck is a turn off...

Im leaning towards an LS1 TA, or a 240sx, as stock as possible, and building up a motor to swap. Probably a SR20det...just do a small rebuild, all new gaskets etc.

It's mostly, do I want an awesome V8 that's just awesome. Or do I want something to take my time on, and make it my own.

Lol. Yeah..and the part of FL I live in, is Mudbogging, hunting stuff that moves, and having relations with your family..so they arent very well liked... XD

So, how's about making everyone here happy, and getting a nice 240sx S13 shell, and dropping an LS1 in there...
Been reading a crap ton about it, and it's actually quite popular, tho more with the drifting scene..but Ls1 are for go fast straight IMO.

Hell, they even sell bolt in kits to drop the LS1 in without major modifications.

I was looking at some older scoobies, but there's really not many to be had, people seem to hang onto them pretty well.

And the few that are up, that are local ish(within 300miles) tend to be pretty rough.
