Yes, my alpine type-r's fit in there with lots of room to spare. There are basically adaptor plates made out of plastic that you mount the speaker in and mount to the sheet metal. Nothing a pair of side cutters won't fix. Lol you should just be able to unplug all of that and hae no problrms.Originally Posted by crash1340
will that opening fit (top mount depth-wise) some nice pioneer or rockford fosgate 6 1/2 inch components and what plastic pieces are there? also (sorry so many questions) is there any way of removing or disabling the HUD system and OnStar systems? those are nothing but wastes of metal and silicon in my opinion
