Normally when you turn your brights on, the fogs will shut off. This lets them stay on when you turn on the brights. More lights = more light.

I'm a little confused as to what they're saying the fog light switch will do. If I understand correctly, they're saying the fog light switch will work correctly as usual but when you turn the brights on, the indicator turns off. With his "preferred method," does it work normally all the time, or is it making it so the indicator is always on? Anyone wanna clarify that one for me?

The mod in the fuse block allows the fog lights to operate with the high beam on.

The mod at the switch allows the indicator to illustrate that the fogs are on when the high beams are on.

I have done the switch fix already, so it indicates fog are on with high beam althought they aren't.

Wait a minute, so you're saying the switch fix really doesn't work like it's supposed to? (The indicator is on even though the lights aren't on?)

The switch fix does what it is supposed to, you just need to do the ground fix at the fusebox for the fog relay trigger as well.
