I was driving my car last night, and when I pulled into the parking lot my HUD started doing some crazy fast counting up and down, then my Low Trac light came on, then my temp gauge started ticking up and down, my DIC started flashing 0.0 for everything, and the oddest one is I knew I needed gas, now my gauge says full tank. I decided to try turning the car off, then back on to see if it would remedy the problem. It won't start now. No fuel pump noise, no starter movement ... nada. I have full electricity, windows go down, light are bright, when i turn the key on, i get the normal ding, but when I go to the start position, nothing at all. My DIC still reports a flashing 0.0 for everything, and now my ABS and Low Trac light are on. I tried to plug my OBDII reader in last night, and it could not communicate with the car. I had it towed home, pulled the battery to see if that would reset anything.... nothing. Anybody have this problem? My car is a 1999 Grand Prix GT. Sounds like a PCM failure to me, but also a ignition switch. Its just that money is tight, and I would like to just replace one part. Any suggestions.
