06 remote start problem

Sounds like there is a short. Water can conduct electricity so its possible it allowed a connection for a short time to allow the remote to work ( yes its unlikely but is possible ).

Ya...Thats why I new there was something wrong so I took it off and sure enough the thing that holds the battery wasent pushed down so I glued it down and it still dont work

You dont want to use glue you want to use solder and a solder gun. You get a kit at radioshack or walmart $10 to $20. Using glue will not rebuild/repair the connection as it will not conduct electricity nor fix a break in a circuit. But if you use solder that will rebuild the connection and can possibly resolve your issue. If you need further help with solder there are steps all over google or if you perfer I can provide some tips and information if needed.
