Jb weld or quicksteel and 2 dimes work fine... no need to spend money to have them welded jeez or just drill and tap them with npt plugs... I feel like you should of already looked and studied the several how to's that Bill has made and could of avoid several several repeat questions
I'd take it and have them welded it won't cost much it's the right way to do it

It's a waste of money to do it money bags. It's two coolant port not something major. do you think this is the first time someone's come up with that idea...no its been done time and time and time after time.. either drill and tap them or use the dime method, whichever floats your boat.
Edit: now if he could weld himself then go for it but I sure as hell would pay what someone's gonna charge to turn on their welder to do it for you.
LOL it might cost 10 bucks to have someone do it really? Vs having jb weld crack over time and hydro locking the motor? I'd spend the extra to be safe. Yeah it's been done and it works but it's your motor we're talking about smh.

Have you ever read or seen someone that had a issue doing either the plug or dime method? It's been done time after time there's a reason it's the cheap yet effect method. Most guys won't turn on there welders for $10 it's not worth it, how much did you pay. Obviously if you have a buddy of a buddy etc that doesn't count.
I don't care my motor hydro locked when it was a N/A idling in my garage from those coolant holes with the pos plastic upper intake. No need to risk it for something that dumb.
Thats what happens...
