I downloaded uv scanner and noticed there is no pid to monitor boost or vacuum. is it there and I'm just not seeing the option, or does uv scanner not monitor boost?

I have a dhp tuner. Using avt-852. I'm just getting going with Jerrys guide. I am wondering what you guys do to get real time info/charting like HP tuners has? I didn't realize that dhp just logs in the background and doesn't show real time info while driving. Does UV scanner do this?

dhp shows real time as you scan the car, was doing it today. check ad gauge and you'll get one for the items checked off in the added window.

i only run 4. or the whole screen fills up with them and its just silly like that.

pm me your email and I'll send you a link to my drop box file. the uv scanner is in it as well as a bunch of other stuff. you will want to download and install the most recent uv scanner.

still wondering if there is an option to monitor boost with uv scanner

Ah, my bad. I didn't realize it was in that dropbox. I see it now, but it wont install on my Win8 laptop. I'll check it out when I create and XP virtual box. Thanks

I get an application error when I do that. Class not registered.
When I try to run the "install" file in the uvscan folder, it says the module "mtssdk.ocx failed to load".

I hate win8. Other computers are on 7, only laptop I have is on 8.

iirc that folder is in the uv scan folder, right click that file and run as adman. then run the scanner as adman too.

I had the same problem and used a different version. I would also like to know how to add the boost pid. If you would like to try a different version that worked for me PM me. It works in windows 8.1 for me.

Working backwards on the version dates, I finally got 1-26-09 to run. Didn't try connecting to the car yet. I'll let you know. Thanks!

I've had trouble getting it to work as well. this time I deleted all the uv scan software I could find and then when I downloaded and installed the newest version it worked great, no issues. this version seems to be built better than the previous versions I used.

I'm not sure if deleting all the other uv scan had anything to do with the new one working, but that's the only thing I did different.
