I can't get TT to work in windows 7. I run DHP PT fine.

I understand it was made a long time ago, but thought it runs on the same NET frameworks as DHP..

    Thanks

Runs on windows 8 in xp compatability mode, should be able to do something similar in win 7.

Right click on tinytuner and troubleshoot compatability. Should be able to select xp mode.

you also need to download the osid and the pid list. then open up tt and select the database.

options> select database. then a window opens to find where you saved it to.

i downloaded the bottom 3 links found at the bottom of this page. http://theblattners.com/Projects/TinyTuner/default.html

if the program opens but doesn't work, you probably need to select the database and/or download it.

    Ok, TT does open up.

I DL'd the database. I go to open in TT, but nothing happens.

you need to tell tt where the file is,

options> select database. then a window opens to find where you saved it to.

    Yeah, I did that

I click on active TTDB 09 28 13 go to open. Nothing happens. Do I need to load a BIN first?

yeah you need to open a bin, or its got nothing to work with.

    file, open binary file.

also in options check "use data base when available."

    Well, got it too work.

For some reason the shortcut I was using for tiny tuner was bad. I went to the program files and opened it there it worked fine.

Now what is the purpose of the database once the BIN is loaded?

if I understand it right, the database provides definitions for all the different tables.

all i know is it wont open a bin till you find the database where you stored it and use it.
