Fueling can be changed by three tables. The injector table, The Maf table and the VE table.I use the MAF table.
Not fimiliar with the PT but go into the MAF HZ table. You should really scan while doing a WOT run to see exactly where your MAF HZ are at WOT. But if not use this table for a guestimation.
This is the MAF Value in Hz Range
1000-1999 Idle
2000-2999 Idle
3000-3999 Idle
4000-4999 Cruise
5000-5999 Cruise
6000-6999 Cruise
7000-7999 Cruise
8000-8999 Cruise
9000-9999 WOT
10000-10999 WOT
11000-11500 WOT
This is what the MAF table looks like in HPT You will have similar numbers as listed in this table. You need to highlight the ''WOT range'' and decrease the numbers in the highlighted area. Then even out the cells or ''smooth the table by decreasing (or increasing depending on if you increasing or decreasing the the selected area of numbers that are highlighted) 3 cells in each direction from where you stopped. Just decrease the first cell by like .05 then the next .03 then the next .01
You dont want any lumps in the MAF table so thats why you do this.
As far as how much to decrease the numbers to run less fuel it really depends. Try decreasements in .10 at a time to the selected area. Do a WOT run and see where your at. By the way cells are the different ''Blocks in the MAF table'' for instance 1500Hz is a cell.
Need me to explain anything more just lemme know.
Decreasing the numbers in the MAF table is telling the PCM that there is less air comming into the engine so therefor less fuel is needed. And increasing does the reverse. So your basicly fooling the PCM. Makes sense?
So if you wanted to go buy the list then you would change the numbers in cells 9000 to 11500 by decreasing them .10 at a time.
