Alright, I see a few ppl on here talking about mods to get. Every once in a while someone will say "get a tune" or something refering to a tune.

Does this mean a tune up? (cleaning, oil, plugs blah blah)

Or does this mean pcm tune with a scan tool or something of that sort?

    Im confused!!

It means a PCM tune with a tuning program....most common here would be the Powertuner, or HP Tuners.

I don't think I will know how to use it. Plus im sure you would want $200+ and I am not willing to spend that kind of money on it. Call me cheap but I have more priorities like paying for school and car payments, than buying a tuner

The tuner raised my average fuel mileage from 23mpg to over 28mg, and I am still working on it. With that kind of savings, you can have the tuner paid off, and be saving money for school and car payments.

As far as using it, I can provide you with copies of all the tuning resources that I found. Read over them, and it explains it in step by step process. And if you have any questions, I am always willing to help get you through it.

The tuner can do great things.

I am in the same boat as Freeber. I would like to get my GT "tuned", but will not be dropping that much to get a program. Is there a place that offers this service? I am in the St Louis Area. Middle of Illinois.
If my pics are not working, please email me, I may have moved the pics on a different page on Photobucket. Thanks

well the thing about tunning is they need to know about our cars if its someone else. i wouldent just go anywhere and get it tuned, and if they never tuned a grandprix before there deff not touching my car. try and find someone around you with a gtp and a tunner that knows what there doing. or just go get a pcm from overkill
