    Hey guys, i installed my 180 tstat about 1 week ago after my engine swap and i am wondering how do i change my settings in my bin to a 180 tstat and where do i go to change it? Thank you.
    Gen V, 3.0, Stage 2 heads, XP Cam, SD Headers, N*, LQ4, ZZP Stage 2 Gen 3 Intercooler, CAI, AL 104's Gapped to .055, #130 Springs, 42.5lb Injectors, ZZP Tune.

    you need to change the fan turn on temp to be lower so it actually turns the fans on when you want them to to make the thermostat worthwhile. if you do not do this the car will run at stock temps because the fans wont turn on until stock temps, regardless of what thermostat you have in it and when it does and does not open.

    I assume he had a can tune, your right about the fans though.

    The fan turn on temp will only make a difference at slow speeds or idling when cruising it will not come on so the lower temp T-stat will still have an effect.
