I just recieved my second pcm from overkill, due to issues with the first one. My 1-2 shift goes into the red a little bit, it switches at abot 6200rpm, is this normal? Ok for the car?

It's not good for the car. And there is no need to go that high by any means with the mods you have.

all off the shelf PCMs will shift that high. youre running out of your powerband by shifting that high. with the stock cam your power is falling off at about 5500 or so.

find someone local to really tune your car.

Some people think it's just cool to shift that high. When they don't really know what is going on.

Yeah I'm not exactly happy with it, the first pcm will sent was the cause of that thump I was getting upon take-off, so we aranged it so he would send me a second one, well the second pcm fixed the thump, but now it just seems slow. The shifts are weak, not quick at all. plus it goes over redline. The original (1st) pcm he sent me was a mess, terrible cold idle, the thump everytime i took off really hard, the cooling fans that run after turning off the car never worked. but I must say atleast the "thumping" pcm was faster, idk if it had to do with the shifts or maybe some other adjustment. First pcm I could get 6.3 sec 0-60mph even with the thump and god know what else was wrong with it, the second pcm which is in the car now, everything works with no problems, only problem it just seems slugish in 1st and 2nd and now I can only get a 6.8 sec 0-60 mph. I'm just so disgusted with the whole thing, I don't know what to do, and Will takes a week to answer e-mails, then if I have to send it to him, it will be 2 weeks before I get it back.
