looking for a good tablet to use as double duty for my dhp tuner and torque app pro.....anybody have any luck with both
it will be impossible for one device to run both. dhp was designed in the 90's and was supported until 2005, while the technology for the torque app is circa 2012, and runs off of the android operating software. you need a windows based operating system for dhp and a smartphone for torque app.
I use HP Tuners and have been using this tablet to tune: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
it works well enough, the issues some of the reviewers had are dumb, I haven't had any real problems with the machine, but it seems it won't be for sale anymore. I would just find a tablet that has a usb port and a good battery life, also a screen size bigger than 10" would be nice.
why run both? they show the same data....... the dhp logs are much easier to read and save too.
all i use the t app for is between flashing, watching my fuel trims, kr and timing. why take a laptop out just to see live data while the pcm learns?
the dhp to log and flash while the torque app to monitor and double as a mp3 player....went with the cube i10 dual boot tablet now with usb port.....i sound like a spokesman
you would need both operating systems to be running at the same time. interesting concept on a tablet pc, I mean one that has windows and android. looks like it's a decent price too. when you are taking a scan, you need to be watching the road, it's kind of a safety thing. even having aeroforce gauges in my side pillar, I don't pay much attention to them because I don't want to die, and taking full throttle pulls for PE tuning, I often hit 100 mph, watching the gauges or computer is the least of my worries. just look at the scan after you are done.
