Yeah thats totally not scratches but it IS an area thats covered up anyway so it wouldn't matter. Polishing before assembly keeps "white gap syndrome" away. However it sure ramps up the scratch penalty level for the assembler. Just slap some DC on it, right? Guess who will be hanging sheetmetal and glass and probably all the trim.
Since I haven't complained much lately (a relative statement) here goes... MY HAND HURTS! FUG! Tried to put soft earplugs in today, crap can't do with right hand. That was awkward and maddening. Can't work clothes buttons with it, can't start or even pick up small screws with it reliably. If I try, I have to visually confirm that I've picked the object up. Holding air tools wide open for precise work is really killing the fun. Have to choose between wrist brace or gloves and can't allow myself to get angry, ugh. Endo-rant, I'll run hide in a black and white western to bore it outta me like always. But I grow weary of the pain and reduced ability, and the keeping it to myself.
