Effin glorious.
I guess that's what I get for going with untested beta drivers and software, on an untested beta version of an operating system, while using modified hardware...
Lol
You mean TURDible idea. Lol
Anyone know much on cobalts? My sisters boyfriend has an 08 cobalt with 117k he offered to sell her 01 montecarlo with the 3.4 with 175k and whatever he made from that he would put into a down payment for his new car and give her the cobalt. I know absolutely nothing about cobalts.

It might be the 2.4, my dad's old Pontiac Sunfire had a 2.4 paired to a 5 speed... I miss that little red convertible. Lol
Either a 2.2 or 2.4 but they look exactly the same in a cobalt, they are a newer design than what was put in a cavalier or sunfire. Both run good, oil changes are key on them. They love to cook oil if you don't change it often enough and are known to burn some oil but that's alright.
Control arm and ball joint failures are very common. Aside from just being a cheap car, they work alright and get good mpgs.
I've seen a turbo 2.4 cavalier, it was...what's the word...
Adorable. Lol
It barely went faster than my dad's sunfire. That might have been auto vs standard and a driver mod, but it was fun.
That'd be cool if it wasn't across the damned country, lol. That's also the same price and new planets, I'd just be getting the transmission for free, haha. Thanks for hunting though, I appreciate it.
