A customer that had a 20th GP N/A with like 264k bought a S/C 2000 daytona 500 model with 90k and in very good shape not long ago. 2 weeks later he stops in front of a building to park, and as he hits the brake it blows a brake line and he ends up hitting the brick wall at like 5 mph. The bumper itself is fine, it flexed back but the paint cracked, both grilles broke off and the hood got a little crease. It was a really nice car, still is minus the front damage. Man that sucks, I'm fixing the brake lines up for him.
Full nicopp lines from the splice. They looked just fine as they went up the firewall. Also the fuel lines were wet with some penetrating oil, and I was doing the fuel filter too.
I would be in shock if that happened to me, and my GP isn't nearly as nice as this one. Body damage/work in general is completely foreign to me, it's like having a rod knock in an engine that can't be swapped. Has to be fixed and I'm just not capable lol
Also, if I was S/C I would have made it through the light without it going red. That is all.

Usually its so short of a light (for my direction of traffic) only a handful of cars make it through, I put it in 1 in case it was still green I could get through. The millisecond after my brain sent the signal to my leg to give it gas it turns yellow, too late lol.
