IIRC my GOV card had a $10K limit on it when I wasn't deployed and the unit was the controlling agency for the limit. When we deployed to Iraq in 05, it was raised to $55K iirc (way to high in my book but hey they didn't pay me to think and it looked good on my credit report)
never thought of that.
