For those that don't know, all BMW E46's suffer from the Subframe crack issue, this is a kit you can install to help reinforce the weak areas and prevent it from happening. Looks like fun.

One of the most wildest cars I've had a ride in, is a BMW E46 M3 supercharged....so I have a major soft spot for these cars.

The car is destined to be a classic for sure. If I could, I would have one already.

If you can get it for the right price screw what ever things it may need an E46 M3 is such a badass car......

I too have wanted one since HS and I drool over every E46 M3 I see here in DC!

I highly doubt you'd regret this M3 is called the benchmark for a reason!!!!

I should mention, I'm not really getting an M3.

I wish I could, but not in the right place right now to do so.

I am considering one to replace to GP, right now I am between an E46 M3 & a 335i.
E46 M3 is a nice car but you need to really string out the S54 to get moving quickly, especially compared to the N54 which is super bad ass.

I'd rather build a transmission from popsickle sticks than glue the FRAME TOGETHER.

$140 in parts to glue a frame back together...or $2,500 for a built trans from TEP....or if you build it yourself $1000 or so.

More than a grand to build it yourself Dave.

I spent $2K building my first. Clutches, gears/chain, input shaft, converter etc etc.

In all honesty, that actually looks like fun to me. That how to is very simple, I wouldn't hesitate to do it myself.
